Jason didn't kill kids because he don't blame them for what happened to him and his mother. His mother didn't kill kids only adults and now Jason follows her footsteps killing adults that come into the area. An Adult killed his mother and he saw it and vowed revenge on every adult he came across. He would never kill a child. Who was the original singer of its a working man i am?

Canadian singer/songwriter Rita McNeil wrote the song after visiting a mine in Nova Scotia. It has been incorrectly credited to Dolly Parton and, strangely, it appears on albums of many Irish singers/bands. Then again, so does Dirty Old Town (written by Ewan MacColl, a Scotsman about Salford, Lancashire). It's A Working Man I Am has only two verses and a chorus as originally penned, however many artists have added their own or changed them to add poignancy. One refers to a father's tears as his son goes down the mine, whilst another thanks God for reaching 65. Another verse talks of a 92 year old ex-miner's family scattering his ashes after he vowed never to go underground. As the son of a former miner in the Lancashire coalfield, I can sympathise with the sentiments of all versions I've heard.
