Alto and Soprano are voice parts, along with tenor, baritone and bass. Each part sing in a different pitch range; Soprano is the highest, then alto, tenor, baritone and bass. Tenor, baritone, and bass are traditionally sung by men, while the other two are sung by women.
I think so, I find that me and many many guys end up singing tons of love songs all of the time, Many of the great rockers out there wrote rock and roll love songs.
It was designed for ladies & men to become fitter.
The main 4 voice parts in order from highest to lowest are soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. Soprano and alto are sung by women, and the tenor and bass parts are sung by men.
Giuseppe Verdi composed operas, and was not known to sing them. As well, men rarely sing in the soprano vocal range.
The role of the soprano is singing melody and is the highest singing voice. The soprano voice usually an octave above the other parts but not an absolute rule for sometimes the soprano takes the lower notes. Usually this would occur in a choir or a four part song. It goes like this: Soprano, Alto (women) Tenor, Base (usually men) but if a women has a very low range alto voice she can sing a man tenor part.
In general, soprano describes the higher-pitched tones of a woman's voice, or more generally, her singing voice. Tenor can describe either a man or a woman, while baritone and base can be used to describe men's singing voices.
We would have lost a valuable part of our humanity. If we couldn't sing at all then neither would we be able to speak. Singing badly is still singing! "I wish all men would learn to sing" -William Byrd.
Yes, singing, especially in women, Islam believes its not good for a woman to make men look at her in the bad way and one of the ways to seduce men is to sing to them, thats why Islam forbids women to sing in front of men. In men however, singing is not "Haram" which means forbidden, however, it is not something that is thought to be cool or appreciated. the issue though is not in singing its in music, Islam doesn't forbid singing but forbids music
You need to rephrase your question. A mezzo soprano is a female singer. There are men who sing in the mezzo-soprano register. They are called countertenors. Two of the most notable in the world now are David Daniels and Bejun Mehta.
no but you shouldn't sing in front of people like men or brothers you can sing in a room with no one in it or just friends in the same room
You need people who are willing to sing. You also need to decide if you want a women's choir, a men's choir or a mixed choir. You need people who can sing different parts. WOMEN: Soprano One Soprano Two Alto One Alto Two MEN: Tenor Baritone Bass You also need choral music and a director who can teach the sections to sing their part of the music and be able to direct them at a concert.
Yes, but Orthodox Jews don't allow women to sing in front of men.

Well. Of course every singer has a different, unique timbre and thus a different voice, but there are also specific terms relating to voice type of course. In a choir the typical setup is SATB, or Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. These can all be split up as well. Examples of different types of tenors are lyrical tenors, dramatic tenors, spinto tenors etc. etc. There are so many. You can also have countertenors, which are male singers that sing the alto part or even soprano, though this is rarer, They are effectively singing in their falsetto range. Castrati, although they no longer exist (supposedly), were men who could truly sing soprano, but were castrated prior to puberty to retain their boy soprano voices (or had medical issues in some cases). Basses are typically divided into Baritones (higher basses) and Basses, who are the lowest voice part.
