You must be 17 in order get into a movie theater for any rated R movie, unless you are accompanied by a Parent or Guardian.
Yes, 17 is the rule nationwide.
You have to be 18 or older to watch R rated movies. You can also be 13 and bring a parent.
Yes, because you are with someone 18 or older.
As a parent, you carry the responsibility of deciding what is ok for child to watch, what YOU find inappropriate. Its at your discretion. If you meant to ask "can you bring your 8 year old child to a movie theater showing at PG-13 movie", then yes... an 8 year old is allowed into a theater showing a PG-13 movie. Please keep in mind that the P in PG stands for Parental, and the G stands for Guidance. A movie about pre-marital teen-aged sexual experimentation (for example) may merit some Parental Guidance. This goes for a child of any age, and also for the parents themselves. Well if you dont mind them watching a movie with a few swear words nothing to strong will be in a PG-13 movie. And they may be sex in it but it wont be to grafic. And mabey a bit of violence but if you want to watch the movie first to check it first then i would do that.
no
Probably not.
As long as a parent approves and watches with the young adult.
17 and older
17 years old
Yes, you can watch an R-rated movie with your parents, but I went there today and they my parent bought the ticket and even walked me to the booth and they would not let me get into the movie without a parent watching it with me.course as long as the adult is over 18 who is buying the ticketyou can see a R rated movie at eny age as long as you are with an adult over the age of 18 and 15 is a great age for R rated movies
NOT AT ALL I am a 48 year old man and this movie scared me soooo much that I nearly crapped my pants(and I am not joking) this movie shouldn't even be rated R I strongly recommend that this movie be changed to rated X and no I do not agree with letting any kid under the age of 20 to watch this very violent and grotesque movie.
"Ted" (2012) is rated 'R' so you would have to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
"The Thing" (2011) is rated 'R' so I wouldn't let any 8 year old watch it.
The movie is rated PG for thematic material, some violence, sensuality and mild language. I wouldn't take a 10 year old, but that is me.
17 to go by yourself.
