Some people know Amr Diab because of one or two of his songs that may have been part of a movie or soap-Opera soundtrack (such as "O Clone", in Brazil, which featured Diab's "Nour Al Ein").
I know him very well (I'm a big fan) because I was once involved in an Egyptian community, but unfortunately, I'd say most people are yet to know Amr Diab, who's an amazing singer and performer and worth all the "hype" in Middle-East or anywhere else in the World.
