A gondola is a long narrow flat-bottomed boat with a high ornamented stem and a platform at the stern where an oarsman stands and propels the boat. You can get rides on them in Venice, Italy.
I don't really know... but a from a bit of research a few years ago I know that you can do gondola rides, walking tours, wine tasting, take part in or watch festivals and play new sports and activities.
A gondola is kind of like a small cabin that rides along on a wire up high above ground...You can find one in Rotorua( Auckland, New Zealand)...it is one of the calmest rides ive been one hope this helps!!!
You could visit Venice, Florence. Also you can do gondola rides. The leaning tower. Sicily is a very nice city. The Vatican in Rome is also a must see. I have also heard Naples has good wine.
Venice was built in a lagoon, about 1,500 years ago when Roman citizens and former Roman legion members successfully got away from the invading tribes from the north. It is slowly sinking into the Adriatic Sea, and combined with global warming, Venice will probably not exist, as we know it, in just a hundred years or so. Venice houses the beautiful St. Mark's Cathedral. Gondola rides through the canals can still be quite romantic.
There are many kiddie rides that Pleasure Beach has to offer. Examples of kiddie rides that Pleasure Beach has includes a Ferris wheel and merry-go-round.
Pleasure Beach in Blackpool features roller coasters, thrill rides, water rides, Nickelodeon Land, and other rides. In addition Pleasure Beach include shows, eating spots, and shopping.

You can receive a "Rides on beach" with the sand auctions or direct sales. After winning the lot, Howrse will notify you. After you realize you have won it, go to your horse's page. Where you gernerally go on rides with your horse, an option to "ride on beach" is there. You treat it just like if you were to ride at a trot or gallop. Select the amount of hours, and ride.

I would say that California Adventure is aimed at older children. The rides are more extreme and exciting. However, it depends on the child. If you have adventurous children they may have a blast in California Adventures. My cousins are 7 and 9 and they preferred California Adventure to Disneyland. The park includes rollarcoasters, straight drop rides, a fun water raft ride, and more rides of a similar nature. The rides there are not like the rides in Disneyland. They are not themed like Disney rides. They are created more for the excitement. Here's a more detailed list of rides in California Adventure: http://gocalifornia.about.com/bl_dcaridesheet.htm
