Not really. Fill up with the "correct" octane when you run some fuel out of your ride.
not at all you're essentially making 89 octane. Using a higher octane than the engine was designed to burn is a total waste of money. It will provide no benefit whatsoever. No better mileage and no more power. It is a myth that is does. In fact on modern cars it may make it harder to start. Use what is recommended by the manufacture.
For a 1991 Lincoln Town Car : " regular " unleaded gasoline , 87 octane
You should use 91 or better or will result in knocking.
You should be fine with 91 octane. The higher the octane, the more you engine will like it, but 91 octane is enough for your ES 350.
91 octane or higher it actually depends on how out your engine block gets but most cars use 87 octane, unless your car is running hotter th 200+ degrees you dont use 91 octane, your car would loose power from running to rich
New cars with knock sensors to adjust ignition timing can run on lower-octane fuel, but you lose power.
This car is recommended for 91 octane
Yes you can. It will always be cheaper to just buy the 91 octane though so you'd be wasting your money.
absolutely....you can mix any octane with any other octane
If you're using 91+ octane fuel then theres no point if your car is stock. It IS possible its still knocking even on 91+ but if you're never push your car, no need to worry. If you ARE hard on the throttle, using 93/94 octane would be ideal unless you can get someone or something to scan.?
87 octane. I have a 2.5L with a turbo and use 87 octane. I don't notice any difference and the car runs fine.
