The only water that should be dripping out in that general area would be condensation from the AC running.
Depends of the year. In 2008 US required DPF (diesel particulate filter) on all new diesel-powered trucks. The DPF is similar to the cataytic converter for a gasoline engine.
The torque converter doesn't have a drain plug on these vans.
Like a muffler. Most muffler shops can do it. About 125.00 for converter plus labor. That's the cheapest way to get it done since they do it all day. The dealer or elsewhere will gouge you.
on 2000 discovery there is 4 of them. 2 is after the cataytic converter right on the exhaust pipes one on each pipe after the converter. and the first two is on each side of the exhaust manifold. one passenger side on driver side. you cant miss them they stick out pretty good to the eye.
Removing the cat is illegal in the US, also on a 97 it will cause your engine to run poorly, it needs the cat and O2 sensors to tune your engine properly. Outside the US, just cut the tubing on either side and replace with a section of 2 1/4 tubing.
There are many types of vans available for sale. Cargo vans, panel vans, and mini vans are just some of these types of vans. All of these types of vans are available in a white finish.
