One year.
If it passes the mot it will bet the mot pass certificate but it could also get advisories which is work that needs doing but not straight away. If it fails it will get a failure certificate telling you what work is needed for it to be road worthy to pass its mot test
To get an MOT certificate, you have to produce your vehicle at an approved MOT testing station. You will obviously have to bring your car back from France to do that. I don't know if your UK issued MOT would be valid in France.
I dont kno. Me Chinese.
Get a certified Mecanic to check the car agin
Yes. Using or keeping it on a public highway without a current and valid MOT certificate could invalidate your insurance.
The vehicle doesn't need insurance in order for an MOT certificate to be issued, but you do need insurance in order to drive the vehicle to the test centre.
One month. You must take current certificate with you and inform inspector before they write out new certificate so new one can be dated one year from date of expiry of old certificate. Confirm all of this at your MOT testing station before they start.
No! - As I understand it, the vehicle must have a valid MOT certificate if it is to be kept on a public highway. Also it may invalidate any insurance cover the vehicle may have.
If you need to withdraw the money from a certificate of deposit before the term is over, you usually have to pay a penalty. The penalty varies from bank to bank and depends on the term of your certificate.
it depends on what you mean by inspected? inspected as in a service or inspected for an mot. 1.... as a service no it is not a law to have your car serviced only a recommendation by the vehicles manufacturer the service manual should give you the approximate millage to get the vehicle serviced/inspected. 2.... if you mean for an mot yes its against the law to drive a motor vehicle on a public road with out a valid Vosa MOT, and can carry a penalty of a fine at a magistrates court,it is also possible in the event of an accident if the vehicle is found to have no valid mot certificate the insurance company(s) policy states this makes the insurance policy invalid which could lead to very serious offences depending on the seriousness of the accident and injuries caused to other parties! this is why a vehicle has an mot to show that its fit, road worthy & safe to be on the road for the owners safety and others around i hope this is the answer you were looking for!!
Not sure if this is what you mean, but whereas old MOT tickets were hand written on a green paper pad, the latest are just printouts on ordinary computer copier paper.
