40:1 is the correct mixture for the fuel and 2 cycle oil. 3 oz. of 2 cycle oil per gallon of gas. I have Craftsman Line Trimmer 358.795190 (Model #). It has the quick release shaft for other attachments. Hopefully this will help you.
To create an oil mixture for your Craftsman weedwacker, you'll generally mix 2.6 ounces of oil with 1 gallon of gas. Always consult your weedwacker's manual for specific guidelines, and use a high-quality 2-cycle oil designed for small engines to ensure proper lubrication and performance. Be sure to mix the oil and gas thoroughly before fueling your weedwacker.
You will need 2 wrenches turning in opposite directions on the retaining nut - its not vey complicated.
I do20/1 and runs good
what is the gas/oil mix for the 24cc weed trimmer by craftsman
In all Craftsman chain saws going back to at least 1990, the oil/gas ratio is 40/1.
2 cycle engine are mixed 40 to 1 ratio. One Gal. of gas to 3.2 oz of oil.
