Very simply, the GT has a 3.8L v6, and the GTP has the exact same 3.8L with a supercharger on it that adds about 40 HP.
for 2001 the Pontiac Grand Am came in various forms. The difference between the SE and the Gt is: (1) front and back bumpers and side matching plastic cladding. (2) The GT comes with (16) inch wheels. (3) The GT has a ram air induction system. (4)The GT speedo goes higher.
looks like 2 years and 2 letters is the only difference. GT stands for grand touring and SE stands for single exhaust.
left bottom side of drivers seat near the seat adjustment controls look where the hood release is, its right in front of it No no no!! There is no release for it. THE engine in the 09 g8 gt is a pretty good piece ...........I owned an 05 CTSV with a LS2 engine with 4 bills vs 360 and there is a difference that being said the V had huge drive train issues and was forced to sell after warranty ran out.......The g8 engine I believe is made is Mexico and feels like the vette engine with a cold .............However plenty of power to get the job done and then some
