What is joint car insurance?

Never heard of it. In most cases I list the husband and wife as the insured on auto policies. This gives both parties an insurance record, allows both the husband and wife to make changes on the policy, and makes it easy if one is incapacitated or dies. Perhaps this is what someone has used this term for. As a matter of full disclosure, I own and operate a small Independent Insurance Company in Central Georgia and have for the past 22 years. Prior to that I worked as an agent for a direct writer of insurance for 3 years.
