There are so many options for auto insurance that you can virtually anything covered.

Where I live you must have Public Liability and Public damage insurance on your vehicle.

This very basic coverage is to pay for harm done to others by your driving errors.

Any criminal act will void your coverage. DUI for example.

From there you may insure you vehicle for virtually any misfortune that may befall it from the accidental actions of others or yourself.
