you have 3 sets of numbers on you car tyre. you have the tread width which is you first 3 digit number then you have another number and that number is how tall the sidewall is from the edge of the rim to where the tread starts and the then the last number is how big the rim is. The tyre width and the sidewall is measured ''mm'' and the rim size is measured in inches
