What causes the dashboard light to stay on after your car has been turned off? 1994 Buick Century.
The service engine did not shut your car down, It was the part that turned the light on, (not the computer monitoring system) You need to determine what turned the light on that's very likely what turned your car off.
It is supposed to be turned on as soon as they activate the lights to pull you over. Most are automatically activated when the car stops or the lights are turned on.
it either the alignment of the car or the tires need to be rotated very soon.
Normally this is caused by a warped rotor. Have your brakes inspected and rotors turned or replaced.
You need to take your car into a service center as soon as possible. The fan is on constantly because there is a problem with your car. It could be your thermostat or cooling temperature sensor.
Bad timing belt, get replaced soon.
sounds like the towing electrics have been wired up wrong
As soon as you are in default of the contract.
the oil filter and plug are tight and no leak from there don't leak when it's just standing ,but as soon u turned it on it will dump the oil out. Any help is welcome.
There is a constantly-powered feed to the radio which is most times fused. The most likely causes are burnt-out fuse or disconnected wire to the radio.
When you say "it would not start", do you mean it will not crank(nothing happens when the key is turned)? or it will not start?( engine cranks but doesn't fire?) You need a new battery. I had the same problem with my 1989 Bonneville, It would start ou good but as soon as I pressed on the brakes, the car would turn off.
