Follow the wire that comes out of the distributor (obviously not the wires that go to the plugs)
Inside the distributor.
It is on the back of the engine, just behind the distributor.
remove distributor and check the gear on it.if gear is ok then remove front cover and check timing chain or broke camshaft.
I removed the distributor in my 96 gmc yukon but I forgot to mark it before removing it.What do I need to do to get it back in.
The timing for this engine is electronically controlled and not adjustable
its located in the distributor at the back of the motor.
On the driver's side next to the distributor; hard to get to.
by a mechanic you have to use a hand held computer you can not do it by the distributor as older cars could do.
Nothing.
