hey heliotrope, don't e mail me w/ my answer, the question is not complete. tried to answer the best i could. some older European cars use a start up injector to richen up the mixture when cold so do your homework....
fuel flow will get stopped then engine get off
It would depend on the vehicle. If the vehicle has a carburetor, the pumping action primes the engine with fuel to help start the engine. If the vehicle has fuel injection, pumping is not required.
A fuel injection fuse is an electrical component in a vehicle's fuel injection system that protects the fuel pump and related circuits from overloads or short circuits. If the fuel injection system experiences a fault, the fuse will blow, interrupting the electrical flow and preventing damage to the system. It is typically located in the vehicle's fuse box and may need to be checked or replaced if the engine does not start or if there are issues with fuel delivery.
This engine is electronically fuel injected.
You can prevent fuel injection flooding by not pumping the gas pedal when trying to start the engine. Fuel injection systems do not need any additional fuel when starting the engine.
fuel injection
On a bosch CIS or CIS E fuel injection system there is a thermal time switch located on the engine upper radiator coolant hos at the head. This device controls the cold start injector timedto engine temperature, cold engine up to about 10 seconds of injection, hot engine 1 or 2 seconds of injection. This switch is used on many European models (VW, MB, etc.) Since you did not provide a make, year and model of the vehicle this is only a guess.
The difference is how fuel is introduced to the engine. A carburated vehicle uses air flowing past a series of valving to suck fuel in to the engine mechanically. A fuel injected vehicle uses fuel injectors controlled by a computer. The computer decides when to open the fuel injector which then shoots a burst of fuel in to the engine.
Carburetor, mechanical fuel injection, throttle body electronic fuel injection, ported electronic fuel injection,
black exhaust, rough idle, miss in engine, rough operation of vehicle lower performance, higher fuel consupmtion

Yes, the Ford Laser is equipped with a cold start sensor, which is part of its fuel injection system. This sensor helps the engine management system adjust fuel delivery during cold starts to ensure optimal performance and emissions control. By detecting the engine temperature, it enables the vehicle to run smoothly until it reaches normal operating temperature.
