∙ 16y agoIt depends on whose car hit your house. If it was your own car, you're usually out of luck. If it was anyone else's car, you would file a claim against their automobile policy.

You don't. The homeowner files the claim. The adjuster then reviews the claim to determine if it is in fact a covered loss under the terms of your policy.
Slashed tires coverageYou will need to file the claim under your Auto Insurance policy. Your homeowners insurance does not pay for car damage. That's what auto insurance is for.
You will have to check your home owner's policy. It is a contract that you have with the insurance company and will specify how long you have to file a claim.
If you have homeowners insurance, call the claims number on your policy. Explain the situation, have your policy number in hand, and if you have any receipts of damage or proof of damage keep it.
Question was in error, ignore!
No, Your homeowners insurance will cover losses due to an "Act of Nature" if you have an extended coverage policy. For a claim caused by an "Act of God" you'll have to rely on prayer.
Yes do I file a claim on line or how?
Home Invasion and Homeowners InsuranceThat all depends. What did they steal? Is it covered under your homeowners Policy? If the stolen property is listed as covered under your homeowners Insurance then you should file a claim for the stolen property. If the door or window was kicked in or damaged then you can file a claim for cost of repairs. There is no coverage specific to a home invasion on your homeowners policy so there is no pay out for "home invasion" in and of itself. If you were injured firing the home invasion you will need to look to your medical insurance to cover the costs of related health care.

If you have an "all-risk" policy, vehicle damage is covered. If you have a "named-peril" policy, Aircraft & Vehicle damage are normally covered. If you are the owner of the homeowners policy and the brick wall is located on the insured premises, the loss should be covered (unless it was caused by a vehicle owned by an insured). If you file a claim, the company has a legal responsibility to investigate all the circumstances of your claim. If they deny your claim, they must do so in writing and explain EXACTLY WHY the claim is not covered under your policy.
You would need to file a police report and file a vandalism claim.
