Strange question
This is an international forum .. what is a unit ??? use centiliter
The law is different in every country ... where do you live
Buy generally ...it safest with no alcohol
One pint of beer is 1 unit.
One shot of brandy etc. is also 1 unit.
For every unit of alcohol you consume, it takes one hour to pass through your system. So, 9 units of alcohol takes 9 hours until you are sober.
By the way, I am in England.

It is best not to drive if you have any alcohol in your system. If you drink a unit of alcohol then it will take your body one hour to get rid of it. Thus how long you have to wait depends on how many units you have consumed.
Percentage by volume (ABV) represents the amount of alcohol present in a beverage compared to the total volume. Units of alcohol are a measure used to quantify the amount of pure alcohol consumed. To calculate units of alcohol, you multiply the volume of the drink in ml by the ABV percentage and divide by 1000. This gives you the amount of pure alcohol in the drink, measured in units.
A breathalyser detects the presence of alcohol in the blood. Alcohol gets into the blood when you drink it. The body processes alcohol at a fixed rate (1 unit, that is 10 ml of pure alcohol, an hour). Therefore if you have consumed 6 units, the breathalyser would still detect the presence of alcohol after 5 hours. If you had just consumed 4 units the breathalyser would not detect alcohol after 5 hours.
You cannot determine the units of alcohol just from the quantity of the total vodka.Generally vodka has 40% alcohol in it.
Blood Alcohol limits vary state by state and country. Lets go by a mid range limit and say .08 BAL. would put you over the state law. A 750 ml bottle of wine consumed at dinner would put you at .149 blood alcohol or 9 units which is far over the legal limit and will get you jail time. You best take a taxi home because it will be 9 to 12 hours before you can legally drive.
One alcohol unit is measured as 10ml of pure alcohol. This equals one 25ml single measure of whisky (ABV 40%), or a third of a pint of beer (ABV 5-6%) or half a standard (175ml) glass of red wine (ABV 12%) The average human liver process approximately 1 unit of alcohol per hour. This means that if you drink 12 units, it'll take you roughly 12 hours to fully sober up. For your "tall boy", you need to work out how many units are in your cans (beers in cans come in different strengths), this will be written on the outside of the can. Realistically you should wait until you have metabolised ALL the alcohol before you drive.
It depends on other factors, especially how recently you've eaten.
There are 3 units of alcohol in a 750ml bottle of West Coast cooler
Any Alcohol Anonymous can advise on the alcohol units, as can medical centers such as doctors offices and drop in centers. Online, information can be found at the alcohol education trust, which is aimed at young adults as well as posters and leaflets. Within the uk the NHS is running alcohol awareness meetings and have a section devoted to alcohol units on their site. Drink Aware also have information on alcohol units found in various drinks.
1 unit of alcohol = 10 ml = 10 cc → 1 cc = 1/10 or 0.1 units of alcohol.
It depends on the weight of the individual and how fast it is consumed.
