Easy just hold down your power button until the light on the remote flashes. Then the TV will come on by it's self.(Note: if it does not work somethings wrong with your remote.)

I just replaced the ECM in my 2005 Escape & I did have to have a Locksmith come out & REPROGRAM the Key Codes into the computer. When You turn on your ignition, the red THEFT light will probably start flashing fast & the engine will not turn over. This means it doesnt like your key. Time to call the Locksmith or drag it to the dealership to get it reprogrammed.

On my 94 Jeep, you can disarm the security by unlocking the hatch with the key. So, you don' HAVE to buy a new remote, but it is more convenient than going to the back of the car and turning the key every time the security light comes on.
