110 octane petrol
87 octane. I have a 2.5L with a turbo and use 87 octane. I don't notice any difference and the car runs fine.
No. If your car runs well on a lower octane gasoline (i.e. no engine pinging or knocking), then putting a higher octane gas in your tank is just wasting money...
try 92 octane or higher.
Seems to me that you are trying to much octane for your plugs therefore your jusst fowling out them which will make hesitation and misfiring. Have learned that by doing the same thing. Try running 87 octane a while just might clean itself out.
octane is how volatile the gas is the higher the octane the bigger the boom and cleaner it burns
your car must have 93 octane.
"Octane" is the measure of a gasoline's resistance to igniting before you want it to, and all gasolines have an octane rating. A Honda Accord runs on unleaded regular...so how you use "octane" fuel on an Accord is to go to your favorite gas station, push the button for the least expensive gasoline they have, and fill your car with it.
Each car should have a recommended fuel octane in the owners manual.
For a 1991 Lincoln Town Car : " regular " unleaded gasoline , 87 octane
no it will not as long as they are both pure gasoline.
No, car was designed to run on 87 octane higher octane is a waste of money for that car.
