what is the difference of Indian art from Chinese art

There are a number of differences originating from thousands of years of artistic development. Try reading about each type of art to get a feel for the varying styles. A good place to start would be http://arthistorylessons.net/bodhisattva-avalokiteshvara-and-the-taj-mahal and http://astorcourt.net/

Each type of art tells about the culture and what each group of people had access to in their lives. Indian art will tell stories of hunting and their gods, while Western art will tell about great progresses made during an era.

Chinese oil paints are made with tung oil, which has a different drying process than linseed oil (these paints can't be mixed). But maybe that's not what you mean.

China's language is Chinese (with characters, no alphabet).

India's language is Indian.

Their cultures are different too.

Chinese painting differs from painting in other cultures in that it is much more like calligraphy. The brushes are used with black or colored ink and not traditional paints used in the west.
