Storage has no "location", if you want to get something out of storage, go to any shop, and click "inventory", that will give you a list of everything you own, and then click on the item in storage that you want, and use the up/down arrows to move its location.
ONLY the first eight items of a certain type show up in your inventory to use during a fight. Move the item up until its in the top eight of that type, and then it's ready to use.
