Well, no one actually KNOWS where they are hidden but you'll usually find them in the water, go digging with the medal detecter, Same goes for the Figures you can find them when you pull out weeds, go digging with the medal detecter, im not sure if you'll find them by mining (: Hope i helped i passed the whole game so i can answer any questions(:
