Go to the Great Wall of China (6 o'clock, 1593 AD), where you can get the Viking amulet as well as a barrel of gunpowder (far right). Deliver the amulet. Then take the gunpowder to the rock cave and blast it open. Once inside, your torch will begin to go out, so you have little time to reach the vase. Run down, up, up, up, across, down, and finally left. Jump over the three pools of water at the bottom. Use the time device to leave the cave.
