benzocaine hydrochloride readily dissolves in water and bezocaine is only very slightly soluable in cold water
Hexane is the best
The amino group of glycine methyl ester hydrochloride reacts with the double bond of acrylonitrile, it occurs the Michael reaction, then generates CNCH2CH2NHCH2CO2Me.
protonate it
The chemical formula for pyridoxine hydrochloride is C8h11no.3hc1.
When acid is added to the reaction mixture after refluxing, the amino group is protonated, making it soluble in water. When the Na2CO3 is added, the proton is removed and the benzocaine is no longer soluble. Thus it begins to precipitate out of solution when the reaction mixture is neutralized.
The mechanism for absorption is improved in the hydrochloride version, but I could be mistaken.
The active ingredient in both pills is the same (Cetirizine). The difference between hydrochloride and dihydrochloride is the difference between the non active ingredients in the pills that are added to the drug so that there is enough bulk to make a pill. The above 'advice' is simply rubbish. Any (old Skool) A-Level chemistry student knows the difference between 'hydrochloride' and 'di-hydrochloride': Not the same molecule. However, in layman's terms: cetirizine di-hydrochloride is the real thing and is less likely to make you drowsy. Cetirizine hydrochloride is a copycat molecule to work around patent laws. From personal experience, cetirizine hydrochloride makes me drowsy, whereas cetirizine di-hydrochloride does not. :-)
Actually they are the same substance. A chloride ion is introduced to amantadine to become amantadine hydrochloride. This will be helpful to increase the solubility of amantadine. Most drugs are absorbed faster by the body if they are salts, especially hydrochloride salts and sulfate salts
No, benzocaine is an ester.
A benzocaine is a local anaesthetic used as a topical pain reliever.
Yes Oxycontin hydrochloride is a time released tablet and oxycodone ir is an instant release tablet.

I believe a chloride salt of the benzocaine is the product as the HCl acid attacks the amine functional group. however ethanol may also be formed from the hydrolysis of the ester and create a carboxyl group attached to the benzene ring. This will leave two products at the end of the reaction. I myself need some clarification on the resulting products whether it be a mixture of 2 products or one product.
to shift the reaction toward the products (Benzocaine) to counteract the imposed change excess reactants so that will lead to a higher percentage of Benzocaine. according to Le Chatelier's principle
Phentermine hcl is short for phentermine hydrochloride, the medically recognized name for the anorexiant drug phentermine. Phentermine Resin is a brand name for one of the manufacturers.
Nothing, both are terms for the free base (as in acid/base in chemistry) form of the cocaine alkaloid. This is obtained by mixing ordinary cocaine hydrochloride salt with an alkali.
