More than likely the homeowners insurance or the auto insurance would cover the damage. The person would have to evaluate whether the deductible and possible increase of rates would be worth filing a claim on either policy.

What if you are on private property and you are pulling out of your parking spot and you don't realize the person next to you has there door open and some how you hit it?

If there door was already open then you are liable for the damage. It does not matter if it is on private property.

When someone backs into you while pulling into a spot on a private property and does not get a ticket whose insurance will pay for the damage on the vehicle pulling in?

Based on your description the car that backed into the other car should pay for the damages. You can't get a ticket for backing into someone's car unless they were either drunk or had no license, both instances in which police should be summoned.

Where can a twenty year-old obtain cargo insurance for pulling a trailer?

If it is business property like gardening equipment, you can cover it under personal property which is separate from your auto coverage. If you rent and have personal property coverage, they should have a limit for the business property on that policy. If it is stuff you sell it would still be business property and they usually cover about $2,500 worth both on and off premises. Check with an insurance agent for a quote.

If you are on private property and you are pulling in front of a car on the right and as you're pulling over they pull forward and hit you who is at fault and who is liable to pay for the damages?

Of course the party that is deemed 'at fault' will owe for the damages to the innocent party, or perhaps some comparative on each. The insurance companys will sort this all out in their investigation. Too many things go into this that you were unable to provide, (ie where is the damage on each vehicle, who had 'control' of the ''road'' etc)...

Who is at fault when a truck backing out of a parking space hits another car that stopped behind it as it was backing out in order to allow a friend to get into the car?

This has alot to do with if the impact is on private property and if you had permission to park in the friends driveway, then ultimately if you want to remain friends. If it's an easement or such, the other answers may apply.Another View: Whether you are on someone else's private property makes no difference, the striking vehicle is at fault. Your insurance companies will have to battle it out.
