Pregnancy tests are not 100% accurate, but being that it was negative and you got your period, I'd say you are definitely not pregnant.

It's possible. Wait a week and take it again. some girls hormone levels are not as high as others. with both of my kids i never got a positive home pregnancy test until i was 7 weeks pregnant. wait at least a week and then try taking another test.
