Roughly 30-45 miles. About 1-2 gallons. This is standard for most vehicles, giving the driver enough warning to make it to a gas station.
roughly 20 miles worth
About 15 miles.
Enough to travel about 20 miles.
It depends on how much was in it to start with. However, the fuel warning light nominally comes on with 30 miles to go but it is fairly arbitrary.
the light is set to give a 20 to 30 mile warning, but don't count on it as they are not very accurate.
That's really difficult to tell, but in most cars it comes on when you travel about 30-35 miles more.
about 2 gallons, or around 30 miles left
Could be a tire low on air or a different size tire than the rest.
The alternator warning light monitors the charging system. When the light comes on it means the alternator has failed and you are running on the stored energy in the battery. You'll have anywhere from 5 to 30 miles to get to a repair shop depending on how many electrical devices are using the batteries power,ie.radio,lights,wipers,etc.
