You buy it for mac. You can get it at a mac store.
There is one glitch on the mac version where people are a different color when you get close to them. Changing that is simple. When you open it it will ask you if you want to update your sims and you just click yes. When you play on families you made before you updated it there will probably still be a glitch so you make them change their appearance in the mirror and it updates it. (You don't have to change anything you can just click the check mark as soon as it opens.)

On my MAC I go to System Preferences and then into desktop. At that point I choose a new picture for my screen. A similar command exists under Windows but I forgot what it is. I do not have my manual with me.
Assuming you do not have a backup/Time Machine archive of the Mac before it was messed up... Insert the Mac OS X installation disc and hold down the C key while the Mac starts up. This will boot the Mac from the installation disc. Undo what you did to change the Mac Login screen. You kept a copy of the original files didn't you?
If you have Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) then QuickTime can record the screen - select New Screen Recording from the File menu. Try Snapz or screenflow, both of them record screen for Mac. or check more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screencast
very nice, i have a macbook pro. which has a large screen and nice silver color to it. keys are VERY comfortable to type on too!
The mac pro does not have a screen. It is used to optionally connect to an imac and give it more speed and more memory and hard drive.
