a server address is basically a code that gets you to the server. i play on a server cald korecraft (my in game name is linkenup2bcool, i don't own the server though). the server address or ip is korecraft.com (it is still up, but might be down sometimes)
Im not sure cuz this year it has changed. You can play classic if you log onto the server a few certain days during the year. If you log on during those times it will allow you to play classic if you log on periodically after that
