Gosh just leave him alone, move on and have a life of your own. You already helped him destroyed his wife, I think that's enough for her to take, agreed? Stop dreaming that this not so good of a husband will have his way back to you. Move on and stop with this married men already...not an insult but reality love..

Let it go. Move on. It's a lost cause. If he cares anything for you at all he will present himself to you down the road when he is free. Until then you are only destined for heart break and misery. The sooner you get over it and move on the better off you will be.

However now he feels as if enough time has passed that no one will notice if he looks at the woman. He most likely wants to be with the woman again, because he is on a sort of withdraw from being with her.

Honestly, all it probably means is that he still is physically attracted to his mistress(which doesn't last, if it isn't more). Maybe things aren't going well at home (go figure... he got caught cheating!) But, it definitely isn't true love. Everyone deserves true love! If it were true love, he (a)would have left his wife when he realized that SHE was not his true love, and/or (b)wouldn't be LOOKING at his mistress, but TALKING to her!
