Neosporin is your safest bet. A&D is petroleum based. Petroleum locks bacteria in. Don't use anything petroleum based. Aquaphor is just going to keep your tattoo moist, DON'T use it if you think it's infected. Water will make an infection worse. You should not put anything on your infected tattoo, just wash it regularly with antibacterial, non-fragrant soap & warm water. Don't submerge it in water, and try to keep it out of the shower stream. I'd say get some antibiotics, too.
