One lion alone can't take down a animal by itself, unless the prey is a small animal such as zebra and wildebeest. But a pride (group) of lions can take down a much larger animal such as buffalo, giraffe, and even small, baby elephants! A pride of lions usually kill one of the larger animals, which would be enough for the pride. Sometimes, and rarely, the massive lions will take down two animals. They can eat the extra carcass, or they can save the extra for the later days.

Golden lion tamarins typically sleep for around 12-14 hours per day. They are crepuscular animals, meaning they are most active during dawn and dusk, and rest during the day and night.
ambot language The lion pride stalk, ambush, kill and eat mainly grazing animals of the savanna. Or even carrion if starving. The female lions do most of the hunting, while the male of the pride will try to take over at the kill. The pride spend much of the time sleeping in the shade during the heat of the day, hunting mainly at night.
Lions are top predators in their ecosystems and typically do not have natural predators. However, they can be killed by other lions, especially in territorial disputes or when new males take over a pride. Additionally, humans are a significant threat to lions through activities such as hunting, habitat destruction, and human-wildlife conflict.
