In the 1950's a man named Les Dunston Founded Dunston Archery,

Kitchener, Ontario. I know because my parents were both professional

archers and in 1954 were also both Canadian Champions. They were

lifelong friends of Les and Kay Dunston and my father was his testing

pro - trying out new designs that Les had made. As a boy, I toured the

shop behind his house. I still have Plastic resin paper weight and pen

set that he made me as a gift. Les sold Dunston archery in the mid 1970's

due to failing health / retirement ; Sold to a syndicate.

They re-branded as DUNARCO and then several years later as DACO.

These are the bows of summer camps and Canadian tire sporting good

sections from the 60's to the 90's
