This depends on where you plug it in.
Nearly all TVs have an 'AV' setting somewhere, and 'AV' jacks on the back or sides of the TV. If you plug your Wii's AV cable directly into those, just set your TV to the 'AV' channel when you want to play.
If your TV has more than one AV channel, it'll say somewhere on the TV next to those jacks which one to use, or just try all of them.
If you use a component cable with five leads, select the 'Component' channel.
Try AV, or AV2 or AV3, but all tv's are different
It will work only if your TV is a multi system TV, meaning it works with NTSC & PAL video signal. If you have an old PAL TV, then you will have a problem watching.
put the jacks in the tv put the adapter on the tv & make sure your ableto locate the the adpater with the wii remote
yes you can
first you plug it in to the wall then you plug the different color things into your TV then you put that little box thing on top of your TV turn the wii on and put the TV on input and enjoy!
The power chord goes from the wii to the power socket. The SCART-cable, or an antenna-cable goes from the wii to the TV. The SCART is a pretty thick chord, with wide attachmentpoints. The antenna-cable is of normal thickness, and has a round attachmentpoint that goes to the TV. The wii sensor thing has a chord, which you attach to the wii. Then you put the sensor on top of the TV, or in front of it. Now put on the TV and go to the channel EXT, EXT1, EXT2, AV, 0 or 999 or something like that. You should see some text or settings or something. If you used the antenna-chord, however you need to search for the right channel manually. To do that you have to use the settings of your TV. Then you just finnish the settings, insert a game, and start playing!

They have the channel Boomerang. You don't get it with cable. You must have a satellite dish in order to get the channel.
connect the video and audio RCA plugs into the corresponding RCA connections on the WII Console and the back of your television. (yellow = video, red = right channel and white = left channel) An exception to this would be certain plasma tv's which require full red, green, blue video connections, not supported by the WII. In this case a digital connecter would be required, available at most computer or tv shops.
