Sometimes the term thrall (Scandinavian for slave) is used but this is more properly reserved for those who are under some sort of compulsion or mind control. Wilhelmina Harker was Count Dracula's thrall after she was forced to drink of his blood.
There have been a few incidences of a person or people in a vampire service but no special term was applied to them. Eg. Renfield in various version of Dracula, also the gypsies, slovaks and Székely that Dracula employed. Daniel Molly to the Vampire Armand.
If a vampire uses a 'close associate' as a blood source then the associate (after a time) become immune to the contagion that is responsible for creating vampires. Such people acquire no extra abilities or hope of immortality as a consequence of this service (at least none that I know of). It becomes very difficult for such a person to become a vampire. The process of weakening must be exaggerated and protracted to horrific extents in order to weaken the body to the reception of the contagion.
Vampires don't have caretakers, they look after themselves. Vampires do however have minions.
No, because their immorality and immortality go against all that is holy.
You can't. Immortality is impossible. Vampires are not real.
Not me. Suicide is high amongst those who discover themselves vampires.Edward Cullen♥
Vampires don't need to shave.
According to folklore, vampires are said to live forever by feeding on the blood of the living. They are believed to possess immortality as long as they continue to consume blood to sustain themselves.
Vegetarian Vampires
they don't go into the sunlight
They burn vampires in the Twilight saga so that they can not regenerate. Vampires in the saga even when separated to pieces could reattach themselves if not burned.

Vampires are commonly thought to be repelled by Christian crosses, and by garlic. You can wear a cross necklace, and possibly hang strings of garlic in your kitchen - it's good both for repelling vampires and for seasoning your food.Of course, in the real world, people do not need to protect themselves from vampires, since vampires are mythical creatures (although there are sometimes people who think that they are vampires, and there are lots of people who like to pretend to be vampires or at least want to look like vampires).
Blood is the primary source of sustenance for vampires, providing them with vital nutrients and energy. It is also often associated with their immortality and supernatural abilities, with fresh human blood typically being the most desirable to most vampires.
