Probably less than a few thousand a year for most people. That is because there were really no conveniences (cars, washing machines, phones, internet, and other utilities) that we use and pay for today. Basic necessities of housing, food and clothing were obtained with some cash, bartering and people creating things they needed.

One small point: The telephone was invented in the 1870's. It was successfully tested on March 10, 1876. Also urban areas had electric lights by 1911.
