Here's a few just off the top of my head. Women are the weaker sex. (On the average, women live seven years longer than men.) Men can't wear pink. Women are bad drivers. Men can't be nurturing enough to raise children. Men will never stop for directions no matter how lost they are. (There may actually be some trueth to this.) Men make better doctors, lawyers, ect. than women. Only women engage in gossip.

Men are expected to be strong, work and look after their families, while women are expected to stay home or have lower-paid jobs and cook, clean and look after the children.

Boys are expected to like blue (In the UK), cars, and wear trousers. Girls are expected to wear dresses, like pink and flowers, barbie dolls and makeup.
