== == Vannevar Bush In 1940, Bush became Chairman of the National Defense Research Committee. By 1941 he was appointed Director of the new Office of Scientific Research and Development, established to co-ordinate weapons research and advise on scientific research and development. Between 1941 and 1945, Bush oversaw a number of new scientific developments, including the refinement of radar, mass production of penicillin, and the creation of the first atomic bomb. He also was the producer of the World Wide Web. His father was George W. Bush senior. And the connection may be in the governorship of Texas. After G. W. Bush was made president, James Richard Perry became governor of Texas. That's a strange thing. But, it'll take some time to find out through branches and leaves and vines. But, I find no imediate connection. He is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 jk he is 68

They are not related. There were a number of people in New England with the last name "Bush" when Vannevar was growing up, but most genealogists believe there was no relation between the Bush family that the president came from and the Bush family that Vannevar Bush grew up in.

No, their lineages do not cross. It is not known if they are directly related, but if they are it is not closely.
