∙ 14y agoCorrect. "Polled" is the term given to cattle and goats that never grow horns. For example, Red Polls and Angus are cattle breeds that are naturally polled. Appenzells are a naturally polled breed of goats.
Horns can create a hazard to children, the local 4h requires that all goat being shown not have have horns. So polled would be better for a child.
