Although the entire country of Ecuador may be a bit warmer than 75 degrees F the cities of Cuenca and Quito have high temps that are in the low 70's year round while low temps are generally in the low 50's. Both cities are situated in the Andes on or very near the Equator at elevations of between 8500 and 9200 feet above sea level and owe their moderate temps to their high altitudes.
