No, in general, there are no tornadoes in Reno, NV. I've lived here a long time, and we rarely get thunderstorms major enough to produce even a sustained downpour let alone a tornado. Funnel clouds have been spotted in about one or two storms here that I can remember, but no touchdowns. We do get some pretty wild dustdevils though. Those are painful...anyway, yeah, no tornadoes here in Reno.
