Yes and no! Approximately 50 years ago, a heat wave dehydrated many streams, lakes, etc. The accumulating evaporation/precipitation process carried fish eggs into the atmosphere and after re-hydration over a 3-5 day period, the prevailing storm did rain down many premature and young fish embryo.

The above is total BS based on Nicholas Cage's characters statement in the movie, Next. Most movies are fictional...it's really lame to quote statements in them as fact.

Fish have been picked occasionally with waterspouts (tornadoes over water).
