The city with at least 100,000 residents that suffers the most homicides per 100,000 residents is the actual murder capital, period end of story. So the most recent year that Detroit was the "Murder Capital' was 1987 with 62.8 homicides per 100,000 residents, despite many false claims in recent years by Detroit media outlets. Which is rather strange behavior on their part to say the least.
In the US, about 45 murders are commited a day. So i would say about 60-100 murders in Ohio each year.
On average, there were around 500-600 murders reported each year in Ohio between 2016-2020. The numbers can fluctuate slightly from year to year.
infinite !!
In 2015, there was 94 murders so that is way less than 1 a day.

approximately 3.2 murders happen every second world wide. that is 27,000 murders a day.
There are many day spas in Detroit. There are several day spas named wood house day spas that are local in the city and main area of Detroit. There is also day spas in most of the casinos located in Detroit.
hundreds every day!!! Sigh. More BS hype. According to the FBI, in 2005, there were about 16,700 murders in the U.S. This includes murders by all types of weapons. 16,692 divided by 365 days is only a little over 45 each day, and that includes all types of weapons. In 2006, the number of murders in the U.S. was just over 17,000. In 2007, it was a little under 17,000. That is NOWHERE NEAR "hundreds every day," and that includes murders from all types of weapons. People should post facts that can be verfied, not crap that they hear. besides i like cheeeeeze
Crime has been reduced significantly in Washington Heights. In 1990 there were 103 murders, in 2001 there were 7 and in 2008 there were 2. There are no stats that say whether these murders were gang related or not.
People like to say things like, "There are hundreds every day!" but that isn't correct. According to the FBI, the total number of murders is between (approximately) 15,500 and just over 17,000 each year, but that is murders with all types of weapons. Using the highest figure, 17,000, that puts the total number of murders in the U.S. at just over 46 per day. It looks like the percentage of those murders committed with firearms is about 68%. However, for reference, it should be noted that only about 25-28% of aggravated assaults involve guns, so the fact that 68% of murders involve guns, doesn't mean that 68% of all crime involves guns.
There is no specific day of the week that has the most murders. The frequency of murders can vary and is influenced by numerous factors such as location, time of year, and other circumstances.
