Growing Rich was the name of this mini-series
Bernard Bellamy has done a deal. He's sold out to the Devil, in all his forms. In return, he is promised that all his wishes will be granted, all his desired fulfilled. One of them, young Carmen Wedmore, is proving to be quite a challenge.
Carmen, Laura and Annie live in the new town of Fenedge, East Anglia. They dream of the day they'll escape their dullsville existence. And who could blame them? For Fenedge, with its uniform nondescript boxes, is without substance, a tuning fork without a twang, one of an indeterminate number of towns tick-tacked on oases dotted all over the planet. Some more des res than others.
The three girls' friendship begins to change after they leave school and each in turn begins the journey of their destiny. Some of their paths are shorter than others. Laura remains in Landsfield Avenue, marrying and capably moving the population graph a few notches higher; Annie flies with a fluttering, blipping heart to the snowcapped peaks and frothy rapids of New Zealand and the man of her dreams. Carmen stays in Fenedge, under the powerful clasp of Sir Bernard and Driver, the Devil's agent. Disguised as a suave chauffeur, Driver cruises in his plush shiny, sinister limo, stalking her every move.
The Devil's Arithmetic starring Kristen Dunst is rated TV-14. This could mean PG-13 or R.
The Reaper (starring Bret Harrison). But I believe he's not the son of satan but had his soul sold to him by his parents. And on his 21st birthday had to work for the devil.... hope this is the show you were looking for.
