Yes. No it is not, but sometime questions of a nasty nature are deleted (With good cause) It's the work of thousands of people all contributing independently of one another. Bias seems unlikely. I don't think so, as the questions and answers come from all kinds of people from all walks of life as long as a question can be answered and the answer is accurate it will be allowed to remain. Questions of a "nasty" nature, questions about porn etc. are edited or not allowed but that surely is a good thing.
yes i have asked the question wich president first deployed troop to Vietnam and it gave me the most absurd reason for coming to the conclusion it was Lynden Johnson. When I know is to be John F Kennedy they are both democrats who got us into the war but I believe it was Kennedy who originally got us in. But no true libral want to recognise this as true because he is their posterchild!
Another P.O.V.
the people who answer questions on this site, are volunteers, so they will answer according to their own research, however, there are always people who answer without much thought ore research, and some like to just put in their own bias., and/or try to vandilize this site, that is why we have people here who are on vandal patrol and will junk answers that are inapropiate or untrue, also answers that try to influence the person asking the question, WA does NOT and WILL not allow political reteric like the answer given at first regarding " is Answers.com biased?"
what type of website would be biased toward using plastic
A biased website has a closed-minded view only taking into account some ideas and not all.
This one
If one says that a website, book or article is biased, one means that it is one-sided and not objective.
Pretty much all of them. It's almost impossible to be completely impartial.
It takes a certain side, like if you vote democrat or republican. A website is biased if it is run, funded, or influenced by interests that support or oppose the subject of the site. For example, if the website states that cigarettes do not cause cancers and is funded in large part by a tobacco growers association, that site would be biased in opposition of medical tests that prove that cigarette smoking causes cancers.
Is based on opinion, a biased source and contains little actual information or facts
you can not people can be biased and not biased
Credible websites are produced by authors who obtain knowledge in that particular subject or area. They give factual information and provide examples of truth and evidence. The sponsoring agency of the website will also credible in this case. The intention of a credible website is to provide the reader with quality non biased information. The links on the website should not be biased either. Therefore, a non credible website may be made by an amateur, who provides no factual biased information to the readers. If the author is racist for example, its website may hold untrue information about a particular race. Also a person may have a website about information they may enjoy but all the information may not be reliable or current. Website URLs ending in " .gov " are great places to find reliable educated information.
To answer this question honestly, one should bypass the reviews posted by the actual website, webstarts.com. These are more likely to be biased and will probably give the website good reviews.
I think that question was biased! It almost made me think you were biased! It should be obvious my answer is biased! Sometimes I think that I.Q. test questions are biased!
Science is not biased.
