A Thorn for Every Heart was a Chino Hills, CA-based screamo band formed in 2003 by Joel Holt (guitar) and Aaron Peck (drums). The original lineup also included Jeff Harber (guitar, vocals), Kelvin Cruz (vocals), Justin Powell (bass), and Joy Welling (violin). The band underwent many lineup changes, and eventually disbanded in 2009 with Kelvin Cruz being the only original member left. The band has just recently (early 2013) announced a return to music with the original lineup, set for summer or fall 2013.

This concert set a precedent for large-scale live performances and helped establish the modern concert experience in stadiums.
