I think it was Gregorio Del Pilar nup ur wrong the youngest filipino general of the first philippine republic was gen.manuel tinio.gen tinio was promoted as brig.gen when he was only 21 yrs old.while general gregorio del pilar was already 23 yrs old when he was promoted as brig.gen.but general del pilar was the youngest filipino general to die during the philippine american war of 1899-1913 The question asked for the youngest filipino hero not a general, according to the history Emilio Jacinto died at the age 23 while Gregorio del Pilar died at the age of 24. Meaning Jacinto is younger than Gregorio.
