Glenn Brimmer, and it was a foul ball
No person has ever hit a fair ball out of Yankee Stadium! But Mickey Mantle came the closest on Memorial Day in 1956
If you mean Dal Maxvill, probably not. He was a good fielder, but not much of a hitter. No power at all.
In Major League Baseball history, one of the most notable instances of a player hitting a ball completely out of Busch Stadium occurred in 1998 when Mark McGwire, then a member of the St. Louis Cardinals, achieved this feat. His powerful home runs during that season drew significant attention, especially as he pursued the single-season home run record. This remarkable event exemplified McGwire's prodigious power and remains a memorable moment in the stadium's history.

No baseball has officialy been hit out of New Busch Stadium which opened in 2006. At least not during a regular Major League Game. Here is al little bit of history. Back in 1986 a player by the name of Mike Laga hit the only baseball ever to be hit out of Old Busch Stadium (1966-2005). Although it was a foul ball it actually left the stadium and landed in a flower bed just outside the first base side of the stadium. The Cardinals were playing the Mets that night and the fans gave Laga ( much to his embarresment) a standing ovation. How is that for a baseball town.
Albert Ball Memorial Homes was created in 1922.
A ball hit out of the field of play of a baseball game becomes the property of the person who first takes possession of that ball -- whether the ball is fair or foul, or lands in the stands of the stadium or outside the stadium. As such, fans who get a home run ball can do pretty much anything they want with it -- keep it as a souvenir, throw it back onto the field, or toss it into the trash.
