Michael Jordan never won a high school championship.

MJ played on Laney high school's varsity team during the 1980-81 season; according to the North Carolina High School Athletic Association website, N. C. high schools that won championships in the 4 different class divisions at the Greensboro Coliseum that year were: Class A champion Pantego H.S. over Tryon H.S.; Class AA champion Bunn H.S. over Bandys H.S.; Class AAA champion Jordan H.S. over R-S Central H.S.; Class AAAA champion Chapel Hill H.S. over Rocky Mount H.S.

Laney H.S. did not even reach the finals during MJ's entire high school career. The school did however reach their first and only high school championship game where they faced West Charolette H.S. losing 84 to 67 at the Chapel Hill Smith Center.
